So... what Kyrie really wanted for her birthday was a Power Wheels, but it just didn't happen. AND honestly, she hasn't spoken a word about it in months and then our trip to Disney World kind of became a larger-than-life dream come true. The other things she had wanted for her birthday were a scooter and roller skates, and we surprised her with those a few days after we got back from vacation.
She is alternately loving and discouraged by her new wheels. She really just wants to go-go-go, and it is frustrating to still be a learner. Though there have been a few tears, she has mostly been excited to get outside and keep trying.
I'm looking forward to some more consistently nice weather and trips to parks so that she can get in some more practice. I'm sure that she'll be zooming around in no time!
