Original doors & 'teardrop' trim

We are moving onto phase 2 of our home renovations, but delaying our kitchen remodel. We have found ourselves too busy to make all the decisions required for the kitchen remodel in any sort of timely manner. We are delaying the remodel until at least next spring as to provide us with more time for all those decisions. But as we are putting one renovation on hold, we are moving forward with another: trim & interior doors.

 We are having all the honey-colored interior doors and teardrop trim replaced to match the hardwood floors that we had refinished before we moved in. Last week, a batch of new, unfinished doors showed up in the garage. A few days later, bright & early, our contractors showed up and started taking out the old doors upstairs. It took a morning for the first three doors to be removed and then be installed. It is a 'rough' install, and there will be months of work ahead. Still, it is exciting to see some of the new doors in place!
