These shots are something that another photographer had done for us on our last photo shoot, and I wanted to try it again. This photographer didn't feel as comfortable with the set-up, and though I do like these shots they didn't turn out quite as I had wanted. Also, Degen was pretty unwilling to stand still alone or facing his sister. Sometimes your vision isn't realized... sometimes you realize that you just need to wait a few more years... and sometimes you look at the pictures you did get and you just think, "perfect."
