The kids got this birthday gift from Dude & Mimi when we visited over Memorial Day. After the kids had their fun, the cats decided to check out the fun.
All these photos are of CJ or Ella, primarily because the boys have been staying outside a lot more now that the rain is over and Diva is off hiding somewhere most of the day (and somehow dear, old Gypsy Rose is still hanging on in the laundry room). So CJ and Ella are the most present cats in the house. Here they are soaking up some sun while still taking advantage of the air-conditioning.
Ella is such a sweetheart! Franklin who is our cuddle-bug is outside with Brutus a lot now. So, Ella is the kitten who gets a lot of our attention. She has smooth & silky fur and is at least 50% magpie, constantly venturing into Kyrie's room to snatch the tiny toys that populate Kyrie's dollhouse (and often lie scattered on the floor). Every evening, she comes to watch our nighttime routine in the bathroom. She is fascinated by the sinks, as seen above drinking at the drain.
