One of Degen's very favorite things to do is to ride on the lawnmower with Darren. He is completely fascinated by the lawnmower and loves spending time with his daddy. On more than one occasion, he has fallen asleep in Darren's lap mid-mowing. (So sweet!) When Darren first bought the lawnmower he purchased a set of noise-blocking headphones to protect his ears. He did not anticipate that Degen would join him on so many trips around the yard. Darren would sometimes try to put his too-big headphones on Degen or they would both go without. Finally, we put in an order for some headphones that were just Degen's size. When they arrived, Degen wanted to put them on immediately and headed straight for the garage so he could start mowing the lawn (too bad Daddy was away on business)! He loves those headphones and as soon as Darren came home, both boys were out mowing the lawn.
