A whole host of reasons has kept us from enjoying our fire ring this past spring: rain, heat, busyness. But finally, we had the perfect Sunday evening to get outside for a fun, family dinner around the fire ring!
We used the roasting sticks we made last year to cook our hot dogs and s'mores. The kids did a great job roasting their own hot dogs with just a little help from mom!
We had the perfect weather and made the most of the evening. Though this was one of the last cool days in our forecast for awhile, we are already looking forward to more family dinners around our campfire. And it makes me excited for family camping trips in the future!
