In our on-going pursuit of house & yard beautification, Darren set out with hammer in hand last weekend to put together a ring around the swingset. Later that day, we had some boys from the church youth group (they were volunteering to raise funds for an upcoming missions trip) come over to put a coat of sealer on the swingset and fill the ring with woodchips. Darren & the boys worked hard for several hours. We still need to add several more carts full of woodchips to fill up the ring and brush on some sealant to a few neglected spots before we put the swings and such back up, but we are really pleased with how the projects turned out. I will post pics when it is all done. (AND, you'll want to look for upcoming pics of our new shed, which is scheduled to be built on-site this week.)
