Uncle Charles & Aunt Pretty were volunteering at the neighborhood bike rodeo the day after we arrived, so we decided to join in on all the fun. We walked through Culver City to get to the school where several community organizations had set up booths. We spent at least a half hour with the firefighters from the local station who gave us an informative tour of their truck. We also visited with some local law enforcement agencies, scouting groups and tried out our bike skills. There was a live band, sno-cones and lunch. A fun & sunny start to our L.A. vacation!
