We spent a beautiful afternoon discovering the La Brea Tar Pits. Darren's brother, Charles, gave us a tour of the grounds that included information about the tar pits, the prehistoric fauna, current paleontologic projects in the area and native plant species before we toured the museum. We were so happy with the time we got to spend with family in Los Angeles!
