It is nearly impossible to go a day without taking photos of the kittens! They are completely adorable! It is hard to believe we have only had them for a week and a half. They are so much a part of our little, feline family! Kittens instantly make your home a happier place to be, and with it already being the holidays- we are nearly busting at the seams with frivolity!
The kittens are very good! They really are well-behaved. They like to get in Darren's plants and climb the Christmas tree (though they have stopped since we put presents underneath), but they are not destructive at all. They are both a little gassy, which is funny... and very stinky for such tiny things. We think it might be the food. And our little Ella-Bella always wants to nurse on Darren's fluffy blanket. Our cat, Brutus, wanted to nurse on just about everything when he was a kitten (and ruined a sheepskin throw) so we're a little used to the behavior. I think it's endearing, but Darren is worried about the state of his blanket.
The kittens love the computer chair. I've gotten used to sitting on the first 4 inches of the chair to avoid squashing their little, curled-up, slumbering bodies. If you're already sitting in the chair, Franklin will scale the back of the chair and sit at the top to watch you.
Here is Degen, pleased as pie that he caught himself a kitty! Bless their little hearts, the kittens are very patient with both children carrying them around.
So the kittens not only like the computer chair, but they are quite taken with the computer, too. They will bat the mouse icon and watch as you scroll through pages. Or they will chase each other around the back of the monitor or sit on the keyboard. Sitting at the computer has gotten to be quite a show!
They are so sweet when they are sleeping! In the evenings, they will cuddle on our bed as we wind down at the end of our busy days.
If only we could all sleep the sleep of kittens! They can fall asleep almost anywhere and in almost any position!
Kyrie took this photo, and I'm not exactly sure how she did it, but it looks really neat!
