Indianapolis Children's Museum (April 2013)

We are always for an opportunity to visit the Indianapolis Children's Museum (the world's largest Children's Museum). Heading west for a wedding in Omaha, our first stop on the route was ICM. We started our visit at the two new, traveling exhibits: superheroes and geckos. The superhero exhibit was small, but an enjoyable one with lots of memorabilia about superheroes.

Degen shows us his superhero moves.

Next, we headed to the lower-level to check out the dinosaurs. The kids dug for fossils and pretended to be dinosaurs protecting their eggs. We explored like National Geographic explorers, going: under the sea, into an Egyptian tomb and rebuilding Terra Cotta warriors in China.

This photo cracks me up! Kyrie is hilarious!

Our last stop was the Hot Wheels exhibit. Kyrie headed straight for the drawing tables where she designed her own flower-themed car. Degen raced cars down the tracks and explored the life-size vehicles. Too soon, it was time for us to hit the road!
