We took advantage of the lower-temps last week and met our friends at the zoo. As the start of the school year approaches, we are happy for every minute we get to spend with our friends. Our time at the zoo was more about spending time with our friends than seeing the animals.
We ate lunch by the river and in the shade with a cool breeze coming off the water it felt more like mid-September than mid-August. The kids ran along the boardwalk and watched the sailboats on the water. It was wonderful to watch the kids play & plot in the sunshine!
We stretched our lunch out with conversation and laughter while we watched our beautiful girls (and handsome boys)! They have been friends for almost all their lives, and it makes me so happy to see them altogether and happy!
