Our Valentine's Days (as most of our holidays) are casual affairs. Still, it is nice to do something special for the people you love. Darren loves cookies...well, we all love cookies...so I decided to make a giant cookie for his Valentine. Of course, the kids helped!
We made a peanut butter cookie, and I spread half the dough in a heart-shaped pan. Then each kid poured in a scoop of chocolate and peanut butter chips. I added the rest of the dough and then the kids sorted a bag of Christmas peanut butter m&ms to get all the red ones (we will save the green ones for St. Patrick's Day). They topped our giant, peanut butter cookie with the PB m&ms and then I popped it in the oven.
The finished product was yummy sweet, a great Valentine treat!
