When Darren was a little boy, his dad built him a super-cool fire truck bed. In October, we brought the bed home with us for Degen. Several weeks later we were putting the bed together in what was previously the kids' playroom, but would soon be the kids' shared bedroom. The cheers & laughter from our children during the building and moving process was proof that our children love chaos!
The bed actually came together pretty easily, despite zero instructions (like we spend much time reading those anyway). Still, the job took several hours and included a run to the hardware store for some nuts & bolts. By the evening, the bed was put together! The kids enjoyed a snack and watching a movie on the top. We conveniently did not include the gigantic mess that was the playroom just beyond the edges of these photos. We would spend the next day moving more furniture upstairs & downstairs and the following days reorganizing large & small.
