We were happy to join friends at Easton Mall to visit the Easter Bunny! I had a feeling that it would be a little crazy on Good Friday... and it was, but we were first in line (with a good 20 people behind us and more on the way). We had a good sit with the bunny and one of our best pictures!
We decided to make it a special event, so after the bunny we took the kids to a movie. Afterward, the mall was even more crowded. We decided to hold off on lunch as all the restaurants and lines out the door and long waits. While we waited, we took the kids to Build-a-Bear and the American Girl store. They looked and did a little shopping. Degen made a card at the AG store. By the time we were done with the lines in the stores, the lines to the restaurants weren't quite so long. We soaked up the beautiful weather with lunch on the patio. The kids fed their dolls lunch while we waited for ours. Afterward, we grabbed cookies and headed home! We enjoyed a wonderful day with friends!
This is Degen with his doll Leo. He carried him around the same way that the girls carried around their dolls (well, except carried Leo on his shoulders or by a leg... that sounds like a dad!). People smiled to see him with his doll, and one woman even stopped us to ask about the doll. Degen answered and thanked her politely. I got several pics like the one above while Degen was busy entertaining himself & Leo while we waited for lunch to arrive. So cute!
