It is that time of year! In the cold of January, Kyrie & Darren took orders for Girl Scout Cookies. We got our cookies to deliver at the end of February: more than 400 boxes! The kids were a great help bringing the boxes into the house bucket-brigade style (Darren was out-of-town on business) and helped put the individual orders together. They used the empty cases to build a fort, seen below at about 1/2 its eventual size. They played, ate a few meals and watched movies in their fort. Fun!
Delivering cookies is a family affair, and we were grateful for warmer weather as we made our rounds in the neighborhood. This is Kyrie's third year selling cookies, and it is wonderful to have so many neighbors recognize her (& Darren) and welcome us happily at their doors.
