Marching in the Neewollah Kiddie Parade is a tradition that we love. We are grateful for the magnificent efforts of Nana Billie & Papa Derrel who make our costumes & float. This was another amazing year with a beautiful float and gorgeous costumes. Kyrie & I were geisha, Degen was a ninja and Darren was a sumo wrestler. Though a bit cooler than our most recent years, it was a sunny afternoon with a large turnout in downtown Independence. The kids are great in the parade after years of practice and smiled & waved to everyone, including lots of family who came out to see all the kiddies. We even managed to get our picture in the newspaper!
Thank you to Papa Derrel & Nana Billie!
