Another year, another Neewollah and another wonderful Grand Parade! Though the air was brisk, the sun was bright and we were warmed by the smiles of our gathered family. Before the parade, there were hugs and treats and catching up. And during the parade, we clapped and whooped and gathered candy. We had our usual parade spot and Aunt Suzie made sure we had goodies and treat bags and clappers. I clapped so hard that I broke my first clapper, but Suzie had a back-up to get me through the rest of the parade. As always, we enjoyed the floats and the marching bands and the hot rods. Afterward, we gathered at Grandma Ida's for lunch, conversation and some cards. A great end to our Neewollah!

This year, Degen had a clapper, too! |

Thank you, Uncle Danny, for the cotton candy! |

Seats don't get much better than this! |

One of the parade participants passed out apples. At the end of the parade, Degen ate his "to celebrate." |
