Kyrie at Age 5 1/2

Kyrie is wonderful! I probably don't tell her nearly as much as I should, but she has had a great year and overall she is very well-behaved, smart, active, kind, confident, helpful and brave. She has really grown to be a little lady this year and left behind a lot of her less-endearing baby ways. 

Though she may burst into tears and run crying from the room over the tiniest offense, she is quick to apologize when she is in the wrong and most often when she doesn't have something to say (which is rare), she will say "I love you" to fill any silence. This girl loves to talk and ask questions. She likes to have discussions and make deals and tell us all about everything. We often laugh over the content, but it is tough to fault her approach on most issues!

Kyrie is one of the most active 5 1/2 year olds that we know. She is involved with gymnastics, dance, piano, swimming and children's choir. She attends German School (on Saturdays), as well as programs at our metro parks and zoo. We try to see our friends for play dates 1-2 times each week and fit in homeschool lessons nearly every weekday. She loves it all! She rarely ever complains about our busy days, plays with her brother and works hard to do her chores (though she needs a bit of reminding). She loves to travel and stay up late, watch movies and play!
