We had a wonderful evening enjoying Room to Run Stables for the Ohio German Language School's Herbstfest (Fall Fest). We and a handful of other families from the school enjoyed visiting the farm for horse rides, tag, a scavenger hunt, a picnic dinner, hay rack ride and bonfire with s'mores.

The highlight of the evening was the hay rack ride out to the pasture. When the horses in the field saw the tractor coming, they came running for their evening meal. It was amazing to be surrounded by all these gorgeous creatures who nipped at our hay bale seats. Kids and adults alike oohed and aahed at their beauty.

Me with this sweet donkey. Turns out donkeys are great coyote fighters, which is a benefit to the farm. |
A fun evening was had by all, and we are very appreciative to our OGLS teachers and the owners of Room to Run Stables for arranging this experience!
