WDW14: Epcot

Our last full-day at Disney was spent enjoying Epcot! We had a beautiful day and spent most of it exploring the World Showcase. The kids participated in Kidcot by visiting each country in the world showcase to meet a native of that country and have their Epcot passport signed & stamped. We also enjoyed some of the rides in Future World, though we weren't able to spend as much time there as we would have liked. We stayed at Epcot all day through to see the big fireworks show at the end of the night!

This was written in the sky on the day we visited Epcot- perfect!

We enjoyed the aquariums and the Finding Nemo ride and even ate lunch at the Coral Reef restaurant.

The kids really enjoyed visiting the World Showcase- I wish that we would have had a little more time to linger. I will say that I think that of all of Disney World, Epcot is most in need of an update. Lots of the films are from the 80s and some attractions just seem dated.

The kids were excited to see Mulan (with no wait!)! She is one of the princesses you can only meet at Epcot. Side note: you can visit Anna & Elsa from Frozen at Epcot, but upon our arrival the wait was already 4 HOURS, and we heard that within weeks the wait was up to 6 hours. Plenty of people were in line, obviously, but there was no way we were gonna spend our day waiting in line.
Sunset at Epcot! Love this photo!

The kids... and Darren decided that they wanted swords & shields as their Epcot souvenirs! We went to Norway & Germany to find the perfect weaponry for everyone! The kids had sword fights while we waited for the fireworks!
