On Monday, we visited the Denver Mint where no photos are allowed. It was a difficult reservation to acquire (accomplished with the help of a Kansas state senator), and a very interesting tour. Anyway... that afternoon, we dropped Darren off for a business meeting in downtown Denver. Then the kids & I went to the Denver Zoo. It was a bit of a whirlwind tour as we had to be back to pick up Darren in just a few hours. Still, we had a great time and managed to see most of the exhibits.
